Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and direction to kitchen staff, ensuring they are preparing and presenting high-quality food that meets our company standards.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to strict food safety and hygiene protocols, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Stock Management: Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage stock levels, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Recruitment and Training: Participate in the recruitment process, interviewing and training potential candidates for kitchen positions.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with the Head Chef, sharing information on stock levels, kitchen operations, and staff performance.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to carry out manual handling, and confident use of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
