Deputy Operations Manager

Job SummaryThe Deputy Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our care operations, working closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of services. This is an exciting opportunity for a natural leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Deputise for the Registered Manager as required, ensuring continuity of care and support services.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with current legislation, statutory guidance, and Cera Care policies and procedures.
- Liaise with local authorities, social workers, and other third parties to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the achievement of targets.
- Support with HR investigations and disciplinary procedures, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
- Ensure stock levels of uniforms, PPE, and stationery are maintained, and support Team Leaders with management queries.
- Support with On Call duties as required, ensuring the needs of the business are met.
- Provide/produce reports and information as requested by the management team, personnel, and Commissioners within agreed timescales.
- Attend and input in all branch review meetings held with senior managers.
- Previous experience working in a regulated care environment is essential.
- Registered with SSSC (Scotland only).
- Compliance with the knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act.
- A leader with experience of managing a team and overseeing budgets.
- Knowledge of working within a multi-disciplinary environment and experience of working with service users who have additional support or complex needs.
