The Role: Deputy Clubhouse Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Clubhouse Manager to join our team at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clubhouse, providing outstanding service to our valued members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to the Clubhouse Manager in overseeing all aspects of clubhouse operations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment while ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently met.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels, stock control, and ordering processes to maintain optimal stock availability and minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clubhouse environment for members and guests.
  • Collaborate with the Clubhouse Manager in planning and executing special events and promotions that enhance the member experience.
  • Address member and guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues effectively.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and a positive overall guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven supervisory experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a clubhouse or hotel setting.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including ordering, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle customer inquiries with professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional service and creating a positive guest experience.
