Job Description

Armstrong Knight is recruiting for a Payroll and Accounts Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll, cash book and nominal entries, as well as performing various other duties to support the accounts team.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

  • Processing fortnightly and monthly payroll using Sage payroll software
  • Filing statutory payroll returns and dealing with payroll-related matters and compliances

Cash Book and Nominal Entries:

  • Posting and allocation of receipts and payments, daily bank reconciliations, and posting of revenue accruals and deferrals

Other Duties:

  • Updating and maintaining customer records, investigating and resolving queries from franchisees, and assisting with payroll processing
  • Undertaking any reasonable task on request from the accounts team

Requirements:

  • AAT qualification or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel, and experience with Sage payroll software
  • Knowledge of foreign currency conversions and postings, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills

Salary: Estimated £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
