About the Role

Oxford Economics is seeking a highly motivated and organized Commercial Associate to support the growth of its Tourism Economics business. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Research and Qualification: Conduct research and qualification of new business leads to support outreach efforts.
  • Account Management: Set up new business meetings for regional Commercial Managers and meet set KPIs.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a strong knowledge of TE subscription services and their application.
  • Market Analysis: Identify market changes and adjust sales approach accordingly.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and communicate opportunities, challenges, and feedback.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Track Record: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a B2B environment selling subscription or information-based services.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong presentation and writing skills, confident on the phone with prospects/clients.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Salesforce and Excel.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaborate with different teams.
Desirable Skills
  • Economics or International Affairs Degree: Preferred background in economics or international affairs.
  • Phone Sales Experience: Experience selling in research and data services.
  • Existing Network: Existing network of contacts in the industry.
