School-Based Support Worker Position

We are seeking a full-time School-Based Support Worker to join our team in Wokingham, Berkshire.

The successful candidate will have experience working with young people aged 4-18 years old who require additional support due to special educational needs and learning difficulties.

Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with young people to deliver targeted support.
  • Utilise assessment, challenge, and mentoring strategies to help each young person overcome their unique challenges.
  • Assist young people in addressing obstacles to education and setting goals for future employment, training, or education.
  • Keep accurate records of progress and challenges.
  • Guarantee adherence to health and safety and data protection standards.
  • Effectively manage caseloads to ensure comprehensive support services.
Salary and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is estimated to be around £23,300 - £25,600, based on relevant experience. The role involves a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, with free parking available on site.
