Job Title: Part-Time SEN Director

About the Job: We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Part-Time SEN Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the provision for students with special educational needs.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create individualized support plans.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure that all relevant policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and National Award for SEN Coordination or be willing to work towards it. You should also have strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience in working with a diverse range of SEN needs is essential.

Compensation Package: The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary (£38,000 per year pro rata) and a range of benefits, including a supportive and inclusive school environment and opportunities for professional development.
