SEN Teaching Assistant

Shape A Life is supporting a special school that is looking for graduates who would be interested in supporting SEMH students as Teaching Assistants supporting learning.
This role is perfect for any graduate who is interested in starting a career working with children, especially with SEN.
This will be a term-time only position, and you will earn £450 - £500 per week.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- 1:1 and small group pupil support under direct supervision of teaching staff.
- Supporting independent learning and providing feedback to the teacher.
- Promote positive values, attitudes, and good pupil behaviour.
- Supporting the teacher with managing behaviour and keeping pupils on task.
- Assisting in the planning and learning activities.
- Occasional supervising the class for a brief period where a teacher is not available.
- Promote and reinforce the inclusion, acceptance, and integration of all pupils.
- Passion & enthusiasm to shape the next generation.
- An interest in SEN.
- Degree - 2:2 or above.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to relate well to pupils and adults.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work as part of a team.
- Great salary of £450 - £500 per week.
