As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with special educational needs in a mainstream primary school setting. This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, patience, and understanding of the needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). About the Role:
Our client school is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with a child who has moderate ASD. The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting children with ASD and be able to adapt their approach to meet the individual needs of the child. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and experience in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to a child with moderate ASD
- Develop and implement strategies to support the child's learning and behavior
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other support assistants to ensure the child receives the best possible education and care
- Maintain accurate records of progress and observations

Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting children with ASD
- Strong behavior management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
