Cardio-Respiratory Department Administrator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Cardio-Respiratory department as an Admin/Booking Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, booking and scheduling outpatient appointments, ensuring that both Government and Trust targets are met.
Main Responsibilities
- Working with the department manager to ensure efficient utilisation of clinic capacity
- Managing follow-up waiting lists and prioritising patients accordingly
- Dealing with administrative enquiries, including face-to-face, incoming calls and emails

Requirements
- Computer literacy and ability to learn new skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and administration experience
Working Hours
This is a full-time post working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, in line with departmental opening hours.
