About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of our workforce plan and ensuring the development of competencies and skills within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical education and training to AHPs, ensuring they meet the required clinical competencies.
  • Support the development of clinical supervision and practice education, ensuring effective delivery of the workforce plan.
  • Collaborate with academic link lecturers to ensure apprentices and learners meet relevant professional and academic standards.
  • Provide support and advice to teams on the roles of new staff, ensuring patient allocation to meet competency practice.
  • Deliver Preceptorship and clinical skills training to meet the NCH&C's Clinical Competency framework.
  • Support the development of clinical supervision required for effective delivery of the workforce plan.
  • Provide staff with appropriate information, advice, and guidance relating to learning opportunities within the Trust.
  • Assist in evaluations to inform the provision of future education and learning programs.
Requirements
  • AHP with HCPC registration.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Practice Educator.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Mentoring or coaching qualification.
  • Post-Graduate Certificate in Education.
  • Theoretical and practical experience of service improvement and project delivery.
  • Experience in course and curriculum design.
  • Experience of teaching and facilitation of clinical skills to a wide range of staff within a healthcare setting.
