About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator AHPs to join our team at Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. As a Clinical Educator AHPs, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of our workforce plan and ensuring the development of competencies and skills within the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of our workforce plan and ensure the development of competencies and skills within the role.
  • Support apprentices and students in their work placement areas to ensure they achieve the appropriate clinical competencies to practice.
  • Support International AHP recruitment and induction into the Trust, including supporting with teaching packages.
  • Support the delivery of Preceptorship through teaching packages and ensure that the requirements of the HCPC are adhered to.
  • Support the development of a learning culture where research, clinical practice, coaching, and education are seen as integral to clinical practice and patient safety.
  • Ensure that evidence is collated for our annual self-assessment of the Quality Improvement Education Performance Framework (QIPF).
Requirements
  • AHP with HCPC registration.
  • Degree level Education (or working towards) or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Practice Educator.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Mentoring or coaching qualification.
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
  • Experience at working at a senior level in a range of physical health settings.
  • Recent evidence of continuing personal and professional development.
  • Small group facilitation.
  • Significant clinical experience.

  • Evidence of change management skills & ability to deliver service improvements.
  • Proven workload and diary management.
