Job Summary

We are seeking an Adult Nurse to join our team as a Midwife through our MSc Midwifery (shortened) programme. This is a unique opportunity to change your career and become a qualified Midwife.

About the Role

As a Midwife, you will be responsible for providing seamless care and interventions in partnership with women and other care providers during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period. This will involve:

  • Providing evidence-based advice and support on baby and self-care
  • Caring for and monitoring women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period
  • Communicating effectively with women and their families throughout the preconception, antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal stages
  • Diagnosing pregnancy, assessing, and monitoring women holistically throughout the preconception, antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal stages
  • Working towards achieving the NMC Standards of proficiency for midwives (2019)
