Job Title: Procurement Systems Specialist

Croydon Council is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic Procurement and Governance team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and systems that drive efficiency and effectiveness in our procurement function.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking team that is committed to delivering high-quality services to our residents. As a Procurement Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and systems
  • Managing procurement data and reporting to ensure compliance with legislative requirements
  • Developing and maintaining procurement documents, templates, and guidance
  • Supporting the measurement of contract manager performance against agreed performance standards
  • Managing a contract manager network to share best practices and address issues
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of procurement systems and processes, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and work collaboratively as part of a team.
