Are you a dedicated professional looking to make a difference in the lives of learners with EHCPs? Do you have a passion for creating inclusive learning environments? We are seeking an experienced Learning Mentor to provide maternity cover for a Fixed Term contract at MidKent College.

About the Role

This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of EHCPs and the ability to develop and implement effective support plans. As a Learning Mentor, you will:

  • Work closely with teaching staff to identify areas of need and develop targeted interventions.
  • Provide one-to-one support to learners, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve outcomes for learners with EHCPs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Extensive experience working with learners with EHCPs or similar special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with learners, teachers, and parents/carers.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in supporting learners with EHCPs.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience), based on 37 hours per week.
