Job Title: Inclusive Education Professional
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annumMidKent College is seeking an Inclusive Education Professional to join our team. This role will provide maternity cover on a Fixed Term contract.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting learners with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential. This will involve working as part of a team to plan and deliver a range of extra-curricular activities that meet the specified outcomes and facilitate greater independence for learners.
The role involves centreing workshops around the individual needs of learners, covering subjects such as exam skills, social skills, study skills, life skills, and employability skills. The successful candidate will also work closely with the rest of the Additional Learning Support Team to plan the delivery of extra curricular activities for learners with EHCP's.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to support learners in developing their confidence and self-esteem.
- Assess, analyse, and report on learner progress, attending learner reviews as necessary to recognise and record learners' progress and achievement.
