As a Senior Safeguarding Liaison Consultant at Cooper Lomaz, you will play a pivotal role in providing independent, confidential support to staff in a non-bias capacity. This unique opportunity allows you to work alongside an NHS client, promoting an environment of 'Freedom To Speak Up' and providing support for staff who feel unable to raise issues internally or without support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond to initial contacts with an empathic and non-judgmental approach.
  • Arrange convenient conversations with contacting employees to facilitate speedy resolution.
  • Escalate issues of patient safety and care in line with agreed timescales for the NHS Trust client.
  • Facilitate meetings between contacting employees and colleagues, escalating formally their concern in line with the agreed escalation path.
  • Present the service to staff groups as required, ensuring a level of visibility agreed with the NHS Trust.
  • Write and keep accurate records, contributing to the evaluation of the service's effectiveness.
  • Ensure information and data are handled appropriately, protecting personal and confidential data in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Work in accordance with Service policies and procedures.
