Matron - Theatre and Critical Care

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Matron to join our Theatre and Critical Care team, responsible for leading and managing the delivery of high-quality patient care in our theatres and critical care units.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Theatre and Critical Care team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and safe working practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce waiting times, and enhance the patient experience.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Manage resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of staff, equipment, and facilities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with significant experience in Theatre and Critical Care.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading teams and implementing change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
