Residential Care Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team at a children's home in the UK. As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to young people aged 8-18 who present challenging behaviors.

About the Role:

  • Provide individualized care and support to young people in a residential setting
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Support young people in developing independence and life skills
  • Manage challenging behaviors and provide emotional support

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in care or vulnerable populations
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles and residential settings
  • Emotional and physical resilience to work with challenging behaviors

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £26,000
  • Additional pay for sleepovers
  • Overtime paid at an enhanced rate
  • Rota'd hours between 8am-11pm and alternate weekend working
