Job Role: Residential Care Manager - Mental Health Services

Salary: £37,406

Location: Staffordshire

We are working with a leading national mental health charity to recruit a Residential Care Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a homely residential setting for adults with a mental health diagnosis.

This is a full-time opportunity to work closely with the senior management team and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of your residential service. You will be responsible for ensuring the service operates effectively and complies with both CQC and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to service users
  2. Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of service users
  3. Ensure the service is compliant with CQC regulations and company policies
  4. Build strong relationships with external agencies and family members
  5. Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of services

Requirements:

  1. Hold a level 5 diploma in leadership and management or be willing to work towards this
  2. Have at least 2 years' relevant managerial experience within a mental health, residential setting
  3. Have direct experience of supporting adults living with enduring mental health needs
  4. Excellent CQC knowledge and experience
  5. Be a driver
