Job Role: Neighbourhood Group Worker

About the Role:

As a Neighbourhood Group Worker within the Children and Family Wellbeing Service, you will be part of a dedicated team working to provide support to children, young people, and their families in the East District. Your role will involve delivering a range of groups and courses in Family Hubs, community venues, and schools, designed to promote positive outcomes and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-quality groups and courses to children, young people, and their families
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, schools, and multi-agency partners
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan, evaluate, and improve services
- Provide training and shadowing opportunities for Neighbourhood Group Workers

Requirements:

- Good understanding of IT packages and ability to use Management Information Systems
- Ability to record attendance and work on planning and evaluating groups and courses
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work creatively and think outside the box
