About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse/Midwife to take on the role of Clinical Lead for Ward 17 at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff on Ward 17
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior staff members to support their professional development

Requirements

  • Current NMC registration
  • Minimum 4 years post-registration experience with 2 years at Band 6
  • Experience of leading and managing a team in a healthcare setting
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of up-to-date nursing issues
  • Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
