About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team as a Ward Manager on Ward 17 at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. As a key member of our Multidisciplinary Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the ward, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the ward, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with the team
  • Develop and implement plans to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Manage and coordinate the ward's resources, including staff and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with Trust policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of the ward's strategic plan
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Senior Nurse or Midwife with post-registration experience
  • Ability to work as a member of the Multidisciplinary Team
  • Knowledge of up-to-date nursing issues
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
