About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team as a Ward Manager on Ward 17 at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. As a key member of our Multidisciplinary Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide supervision and training to junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration and a minimum of 4 years post-registration experience.
  • Experience of leading and managing a team of nurses and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of up-to-date nursing issues and best practices.
