We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team as a Ward Manager on Ward 17 at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. As a key member of our Multidisciplinary Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients with complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide supervision and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
- Current NMC registration and a minimum of 4 years post-registration experience.
- Experience of leading and managing a team of nurses and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Knowledge of up-to-date nursing issues and best practices in patient care.
