Job Title: Registered Nurse

About the Role:
Recruit by Nature is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our client's dynamic team within private healthcare in St Neots. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care to residents at the Nursing Home, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Nursing Home:
An award-winning 24-hour nursing and therapy service for adults with complex, long-term conditions, specialising in stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal injuries, and dementia. The Nursing Home offers a warm and welcoming environment, with fantastic care facilities and a management team that supports Registered Nurses to run the home smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other nursing procedures
  • Developing and implementing individualised care plans
  • Monitoring and assessing residents' health status and progress
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Providing support and guidance to care assistants and other team members
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, and private healthcare professionals

Requirements:
  • Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN)
  • Proven experience in a Nursing Home/Care Home or similar healthcare setting
  • Excellent clinical and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Clear DBS Check
