We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team within private healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care to residents at our Nursing Home, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
About the Nursing HomeOur Nursing Home is an award-winning 24-hour nursing and therapy service for adults with complex, long-term conditions, specialising in stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal injuries, and dementia. We offer a warm and welcoming environment, with fantastic care facilities and a management team that supports our Nurses and the Nursing Home to run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other nursing procedures
- Developing and implementing individualised care plans
- Monitoring and assessing residents' health status and progress
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Providing support and guidance to care assistants and other team members
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and best practices
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and private healthcare professionals
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN)
- Proven experience in a Nursing Home/Care Home or similar healthcare setting
- Excellent clinical and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Clear DBS Check
