About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nurse to join our dynamic team at Eltisley Manor. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for driving clinical excellence, mentoring and inspiring our nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the nursing team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring.
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of patient care in accordance with clinical standards and protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for nursing staff regarding patient care issues.
  • Participate in direct patient care as needed to maintain clinical skills and support staff during high-demand periods.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and healthcare policies.
  • Monitor patient care outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based practices.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, including infection control, patient safety, and medication management.
Requirements
  • Nursing qualification with current NMC registration as an RMN.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of nursing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
