About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team at Eltisley Manor, a 37-bed registered psychiatric nursing care home located near St-Neots town centre. As a valued member of our close-knit team, you will provide high-quality care to individuals suffering from enduring mental health issues and those nearing the end of their rehabilitation towards independent living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively as a Primary/Named Nurse/Key worker within the multidisciplinary team, including liaising with associated professionals and other agencies.
  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and record patient-centred care plans.
  • Facilitate Nursing Home activities and ensure risk management issues are assessed, identified, and care planned for.
  • Ensure effective communication with patients, carers, visitors, and staff.
  • Make effective use of evidence-based practice in day-to-day clinical practice.
  • Implement and ensure effective use of the Mental Health Act where necessary.
  • Ensure safe standards apply to the administration of medication.
  • Assist with the development and/or revision of local policies and procedures as necessary.
