About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team at Eltisley Manor, a 37-bed registered psychiatric nursing care home located in Cambridgeshire. As a valued member of our close-knit team, you will provide high-quality care to individuals suffering from enduring mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement patient-centered care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Facilitate nursing home activities and ensure effective communication with patients, carers, visitors, and staff.
  • Assess and manage risk issues, identifying and addressing concerns within the team.
  • Make effective use of evidence-based practice in day-to-day clinical practice.
  • Implement and ensure effective use of the Mental Health Act where necessary.
  • Ensure safe standards apply to the administration of medication.
  • Assist with the development and revision of local policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Supervise and monitor the use of supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies and appropriate use.
  • Participate in teaching programs with all staff, including students.
  • Maintain a learning environment and assist in the induction of new staff.
