Job Title: Arts Administrator

Arts Council is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Arts Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including managing office operations and reception duties.
  • Support recruitment and induction of new staff, creative practitioners, and volunteers.
  • Develop and maintain effective systems for capturing and reporting company-wide monitoring and evaluation data and analysis.
  • Maintain and support Arts Council's Safeguarding policies through DBS checking and creating Safeguarding IDs.
  • Manage all enquiries for venue hire bookings and commercial opportunities.
  • Organize company events, such as open days, and liaise with internal colleagues on delivery.
  • Engage Volunteers and Placements by recruiting, onboarding, and managing.
  • Support and develop the marketing function of the organization, including updating the website and posting content to social media channels.
  • Assist with servicing and preparation of agendas and papers for company meetings.

Requirements:

  • Proven administrative and clerical experience.
  • Meticulous and methodical approach to administrative procedures.
  • Experience of preparing agendas, collating documents, and communicating with internal and external parties.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent IT and technical support skills.
  • Common sense and ability to simplify and improve processes to drive better results.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment.
