Arts Council is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Administrator to join our busy team. This role will suit someone keen to develop a career within the arts industry.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, Executive Director, and the core staff team to provide administrative support for the team of diverse creative practitioners and producers working with the company.

This is a full-time position based at our busy making space. Usual working hours are Mon - Fri, 10am - 6pm; some evening and weekend work may be required, and time off in lieu will be given.

We are particularly keen to receive applications from individuals from under-represented communities.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven administrative & clerical experience.
  • Experience of preparing agendas, collating documents, communicating with internal & external parties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the organisational administration for the company including managing the office and reception.
  • Supporting recruitment and induction of new staff, creative practitioners, and volunteers.
  • Developing and maintaining effective systems for the capture and reporting of companywide monitoring and evaluation data and analysis.
  • Maintaining and supporting EEA's Safeguarding policies through DBS checking and creating Safeguarding IDs.
  • Managing all enquiries for venue hire bookings and commercial opportunities.
  • Organising company events such as open days and liaising with internal colleagues on the delivery.
  • Supporting and developing the marketing function of the organisation including updating the website and posting content to our social media channels.
