Job Description
As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for managing planning applications, appeals, and pre-application enquiries. You will conduct research and prepare planning appraisals to assess site potential. Additionally, you will write high-quality reports with clear recommendations, lead client meetings, and community engagement sessions. You will oversee projects, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with timelines and safety standards.

Salary
A competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum is offered. This includes private medical insurance, a BUPA cash plan, and discounted gym memberships. Hybrid working and enhanced annual leave, including loyalty leave, are also provided.

Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a degree or Master's holder in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI accredited). A minimum of two years of experience in a planning role, preferably within the public or private sector, is required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills are essential. A strong understanding of the UK planning system and legislation is necessary.
