About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining high store standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team, focusing on customer satisfaction, sales growth, and operational excellence.
  • Support the implementation of visual merchandising and store displays to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement action plans to achieve business objectives, including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and support their career development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including health and safety, security, and data protection.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Deputy Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Flexibility to work a range of hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
