About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail Limited. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional store standards and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team of sales assistants and customer service representatives.
  • Assist in maintaining excellent store standards, including visual merchandising, stock management, and customer service.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and customer service strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to identify and address any operational issues or areas for improvement.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of new team members, ensuring that the store has the right people with the right skills to deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
