Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist to join our team at Dakota Edinburgh. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling all aspects of reception duties, and working closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests and checking them in and out
  • Handling guest billing and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Providing information and making recommendations to guests on hotel facilities and services
  • Working closely with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for guests
  • Managing the front desk area, including answering phones and responding to emails

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospitality setting, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Strong administration skills and ability to work at pace
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Fully computer literate, with knowledge of property management systems
