About the Role

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Pharmacy Advisor. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide robust pharmaceutical advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals through direct contact and consultation.
  • Work collaboratively with front-line staff to ensure the maintenance of pharmacy professional standards within NHS 24.
  • Engage with colleagues to create opportunities for coaching and establish clear mechanisms for staff feedback and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Vocational degree in pharmacy (e.g., MPharm) or equivalent.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Substantial experience of pharmaceutical practice, including working in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of community pharmacy.
  • Proactive and able to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks with competing deadlines.
