About the Role

NHS 24 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Pharmacy Advisor. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing pharmaceutical advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and guidance on pharmaceutical matters to patients and healthcare professionals via phone and online services.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Develop and deliver training programs for nurse practitioners, call handlers, and health information advisors on pharmacy-related topics.

Requirements

• Hold a vocational degree in pharmacy (e.g., MPharm) or equivalent.
• Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Have substantial experience in pharmaceutical practice, including working in multidisciplinary environments.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge and experience of community pharmacy.
