About the Role

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Pharmacy Advisor. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide robust pharmaceutical advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on pharmaceutical-related matters to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Work closely with nurse practitioners, call handlers, and health information advisors to ensure seamless delivery of pharmacy services.
  • Engage with front-line staff to provide coaching and training opportunities, promoting continuous improvement within NHS 24.
Requirements
  • Vocational degree in pharmacy (e.g., MPharm) or equivalent.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Substantial experience in pharmaceutical practice, including working in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of community pharmacy.
  • Proactive and resilient, with ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
