Deputy Ward Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the ward team to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our patients.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and support junior staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a strong background in leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and relevant policies and procedures.
