We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the Ward Manager in achieving the unit's objectives.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a small team of colleagues
- Support the Ward Manager in delivering patient care, staff development, and service development
- Take charge of the ward in the absence of the Ward Manager and ensure compliance with organisational and stakeholder requirements
- Participate in staff appraisal and clinical supervision, and undertake personal development
- Professional Mental Health qualification (Social Work, RMN, Psychologist or OT)
- Experience of working in an acute mental health setting
- Post-qualification training and experience in clinical leadership and supervision
