About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management to our ward team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the ward team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate the ward's resources, including staff, equipment, and facilities, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote high-quality patient care and services.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a strong clinical background and leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.
