Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our UK and Ireland operations for Proximo, a leading global spirits company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the P&L for the business in the UK and Ireland, heading up all commercial, sales, marketing, and business development efforts.

This is a genuine all-encompassing General Management role, requiring a deep understanding of the spirits industry and a proven track record of driving sustainable growth in the premium sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business plans to drive profitable growth across multiple channels
  • Lead a team of commercial, sales, marketing, and business development professionals
  • Manage the P&L for the business in the UK and Ireland
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trade partners and suppliers
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
Requirements
  • Significant commercial and/or general management experience in the spirits industry
  • Proven track record of driving sustainable growth in the premium sector
  • Strong understanding of the spirits industry and market trends
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
