POSITION: Branch Operations Manager
WORK HOURS: 44 hours per week - Permanent Position
SALARY: £28,000 basic salary, with realistic total earning potential of up to £38,000 annually

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

RESPONSIBILITIES OF OUR BRANCH MANAGERS:

  • Lead the Branch and utilize team management skills to develop a small team
  • Ensure the Branch operates at peak efficiency
  • Build relationships with customers and enhance sales and customer experience within the branch
  • Oversee daily Branch operations and the team to deliver excellence
  • Manage team absences and deployment effectively
  • Assist regional teams with recruitment efforts
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and operational standards, ensuring Branch sales targets are met
  • Support training initiatives and maintain training records for Branch staff

REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR BRANCH MANAGERS:

  • Hands-on approach, leading by example, focused on driving the team to achieve sales and branch targets
  • Passion and energy to provide exceptional customer service and meet business objectives
  • A customer-centric mindset, eager to serve customers and proactively engage with potential clients
  • A commercial perspective to drive sales and maximize margins while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Strong organizational skills, drive, and leadership capabilities to manage a Branch effectively
  • A full and valid driving license is mandatory
  • Proven management skills and experience in leading a team
  • Experience in a similar management role, ideally within a trade, builders merchant, retail, glazing, or uPVC environment, is advantageous
