**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supervising Social Worker to join our team in the East Midlands region. This role will involve working with foster families, supporting them to provide high-quality care for looked-after children.

**Salary:** £41,208 per annum + additional allowances (up to £2,750)

**About the Role:**

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting foster families, experience of working with vulnerable children, and excellent communication skills.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide regular supervision to foster families
  • Support families to meet the complex needs of looked-after children
  • Work closely with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Manage a caseload of foster families and allocate new placements

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Masters degree in social work or equivalent
  • Up-to-date registration with Social Work England
  • At least 2 years' post-qualifying experience in fostering/family placements
  • Experience of working with looked-after children and their foster carers
