- Salary: Approximately £29,866 per annum (pro rata)
- Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed Term
- Hours: 36 hours per week
About the Role
We are seeking an Education Assistant to work with our staff and pupils to progress pupils to fulfill their potential and prepare them for successful integration to continuing education or the world of work. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Headteacher and within an agreed system of supervision, implementing agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in and out of the classroom.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in and out of the classroom
- Work under the guidance of the Headteacher and within an agreed system of supervision
- Assist in whole education planning and the management/preparation of resources to support individual student programmes
- Supervise whole classes occasionally during the short-term absence of teachers
Requirements
- Detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas
- Ability to maintain good order and keep pupils on task
