Nurse for Children's Hospice

We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in The Ark, children's homes, or the community. This role involves delivering exceptional care to children and young people with life-limiting conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing effective patient care, including administering medications and maintaining nutritional status.
- Planning and reviewing care with parents, children, and young people, ensuring fun, sensitivity, compassion, and confidentiality in all care provided.
- Acting as an advocate for the child and their family, following safeguarding policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Registered Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse (Child Branch) qualification.
- Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 level.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Experience in palliative care or nursing children with life-limiting conditions.
Salary and Benefits
The annual salary is estimated to be around £35,000 - £42,000, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a £5,000 joining bonus over three years, 25 days annual leave increasing to 30 days with service, and comprehensive learning and development opportunities.
