Our client, a highly respected children's hospice, is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead and transform clinical services, providing exceptional care for seriously unwell children and their families.

This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of children and their families, working in a supportive and inclusive environment, in a stunning new building set in a North London nature reserve.

The Clinical Services Manager will play a crucial role in:

  • Supporting the leadership, management, development, and transformation of Clinical Services.
  • Driving positive change management across clinical services.
  • Developing and enhancing the relationship between Holistic and Clinical Services.
  • Collaborating with senior colleagues to improve outcomes for children and their families.
  • Building relationships with other providers, commissioners, and regulators.
  • Providing line management support to the clinical team, including Specialist Play.
  • Overseeing the management of the Clinical Services rota and partaking in the out-of-hours Senior Nurse On-Call rota.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant post-qualification experience at staff nurse band 6 or above.
  • Experience in paediatric palliative care, leadership, and management.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
  • Experience in recruitment, selection, and retention.
  • Competence in IT skills, including Microsoft packages and electronic patient records.
