Job Overview

PP Associates Ltd is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Youth Engagement Specialist. This position plays a vital part in leading participation activities within the Children and Young People's Directorate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate participation activities, ensuring effective involvement of children and young people in directorate decision-making processes.
  • Implement Mind of My Own within the service, promoting self-expression and empowerment among children and young people.
  • Support the corporate parenting committee, fostering meaningful feedback and consultation outcomes for children in care and care leavers.
  • Drive recruitment and support for the Young Ambassadors activity, empowering young people to influence services.
Requirements
  • A graduate with proven experience in leadership roles within Children's Services, demonstrating strong project management skills.
  • Experience in writing complex reports and policy documents, showcasing ability to drive quality assurance frameworks.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, inspiring and developing staff to achieve high-quality outcomes.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £45,000-£55,000, depending on location and experience. The package also includes a comprehensive benefits scheme, reflecting PP Associates Ltd's commitment to employee well-being.
