The Role

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Langshott Manor Hotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests in our Mulberry Restaurant and for exclusive use corporate and wedding events.

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing the restaurant for service, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
  • Meeting and greeting guests, providing a friendly and attentive service.
  • Taking guest orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Serving food and beverage, including alcoholic beverages, with a focus on providing a high-quality experience.
  • Completing satisfaction checks, gathering feedback to improve our service.
  • Resolving any service issues, providing a prompt and professional response.
  • Presenting bills to guests and taking payment, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
  • Resetting the restaurant at the end of the shift, ready for the next service.
  • Ensuring work area is clean and tidy before departing, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

  • Smart appearance, presenting a professional image at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a passion for guest service and a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Experience within a quality food service hotel/restaurant, with a proven track record of providing high-quality service.
